Introducing Siit Assist: run your service desk by asking
Every admin keeps the same list. The workflow you have been meaning to build. The catalog that needs a cleanup. The weekly update you write by hand every Friday. The work is clear. The clicking through it is the cost.
Today we are shipping Assist, the assistant built into Siit. Ask it anything, hand it any work. It answers from what it sees and builds what you describe, always at your exact permission level, always with your approval before anything changes.
You will find it behind the new Ask Assist button in your admin dashboard. The page you are on stays usable, and Assist sees it too.
It changes what running a service desk requires. The well-run desk used to belong to teams with a dedicated admin, a certification, a consultant. Now it belongs to whoever can describe what they need. And yes, that includes building whole workflows.
TL;DR
- Assist is live today, for every admin, on every plan.
- Zero setup. It already knows your workspace and sees where you are, even inside a request.
- Three ways in: build your setup (whole workflows, services, forms, knowledge articles), analyze requests (live data turned into answers and reports), ask the docs (answers from Siit's documentation).
- Governed by design: it can only see and do what you can, and it asks before every change, showing each step as it works.
- Available on every plan: ten conversations per admin each week, and included on Pro.
What will you ask first?
Everything below runs on your real workspace, today. Each prompt is a starting point: refine, redirect, or push further in the same conversation.
1 Β· Build the workflow you never got to
You know some requests deserve a workflow. Building one means finding the time, then clicking through it.
The prompt
Which three workflows would save us the most manual work? Build the first one.
What you get: the gaps in your real activity, ranked, then the whole workflow drafted in the same conversation: triggers, steps, and approvals included.
β
2 Β· Write the article everyone keeps asking for
Your help center answers the questions you thought of. The gaps only show up in the requests.
The prompt
Look at my last 30 days of requests. What's the question people ask most that we have no article for? And write it!
What you get: the gap in your knowledge base, found in your real request history, and the article written to close it. You review, approve, and it is published.
β
3 Β· Rebuild your old setup from a screenshot, or an export
Moving from another tool usually means recreating every form and service by hand.
The prompt
Drop a screenshot of a form, or a CSV export of your last 30 days of requests. Rebuild our setup in Siit.
What you get: your forms recreated as Siit services, and a catalog drafted from your real request history, ready for your approval.
β
4 Β· Let Friday write itself
The weekly update means re-reading a week of requests to summarize it.
The prompt
Write my Friday update: volumes by service, SLA breaches, and the three requests that need attention on Monday.
What you get: your update drafted from live request data, ready to edit and send.
β
5 Β· Get answers where you work
Setup questions usually mean searching the help center, or asking us and waiting.
The prompt
Do SLA timers pause outside business hours? What happens to a breach over the weekend?
What you get: the answer, drawn from Siit's documentation, without leaving what you were doing.
β
It works where you work
Assist is not a chat bolted onto the side. It has context: it sees where you are and what you see. Open it inside a request and it already knows which one you mean, no copy-pasting, no explaining. And because it is instructed with Siit's documentation and best practices, it guides like an advisor: not just what to do, but the best way to do it in Siit.
Built like the rest of Siit: governed
Assist runs on the same permission model as everything else in Siit.
- It can only see and do what you can. A permission you don't have is a thing Assist cannot touch.
- It asks before it changes anything. Every modification waits for your explicit approval, in the conversation.
- It works out loud. You see each step as it reads your workspace, checks the docs, and prepares changes.
- Your workspace data and Siit's documentation stay separate sources. Nothing crosses.
Available on every plan
Assist is available for every admin, on every plan.
On trial, Essentials and Standard, each admin gets ten conversations a week, and the count resets every week. A conversation is one question and up to three follow-ups. On Pro, Assist is included, within fair use.
Assist warns you at 80% of your weekly allowance. Reach it, and it pauses until the next reset, while the Siit MCP keeps you going in the meantime. If your team needs more every week, Pro includes it. The details live in the Assist guide.
Where to start
Click Ask Assist in your admin dashboard and try prompt 1 or prompt 4. Both return a result in seconds, whatever your setup looks like. The full walkthrough is in the Assist guide, and the Ask Assist series is on YouTube.
What's next
Workspace guidance and personal instructions, so Assist follows your team's conventions and your own way of working. And connections to external MCP servers, so Assist can act in the tools around your service desk, not only in Siit.

FAQ
No. Agents work for the team: they handle employee requests autonomously, like the Triage Agent qualifying every incoming request. Assist works with you: it is personal, on demand, and does nothing unless you ask, and acts in your name.
The Siit MCP connects your own AI tools to Siit. Assist brings that same power inside Siit, for every admin, with zero setup, and with two things your external tool does not have: it sees where you are in Siit, and it is instructed with Siit's documentation and best practices. Same permission model either way. If you already run your desk from your AI client, keep going: they complement each other.
Only what you can. Every conversation runs on your account, scoped to your Siit roles and permissions, and every change requires your approval first.
Nothing extra. Every plan comes with Assist: ten conversations per admin each week on trial, Essentials and Standard, and included on Pro within fair use. Reach your weekly allowance and Assist pauses until the next reset, while the Siit MCP keeps you going. Details are in the Assist guide.
You already have it: the Ask Assist button is in your admin dashboard, for every admin, on every plan, trials included.
